Boca De Yumurí

A great way to spend a day in the Baracoa area! The tour starts and ends in Baracoa City.

ITINERARY

First stop is a cocoa plantation, El Güirito, where you will learn about the history of banana, coffee, and coconut plantations, and hear about the cocoa production process. You will also have a chance to try some typical products.

The tour continues with a drive along our beautiful coastline, seeing Manglito, Cajuajo, and Barigua beaches on the way to the unique natural tunnel, “El Paso de los alemanes (Trail of Germans).”

From there, we will be able to see Yumurí beach and bay, as we drive up to the lookout to enjoy the view and visit the most beautiful snails in the world, “Polimitas Picta” (Cuban land snail, endemic to Baracoa).

After a boat ride in the Yumurí River canyon, cross to Almond Island and swim in a natural pool.

Our last stop is Manglito Beach, where you will enjoy the soft white sand, coral reefs, and a delightful lunch at a little restaurant on the beach.
