Bayamo is the capital city of the Granma Province and one of the largest cities in the Oriente region of Cuba. 

 

It is home to revolutionary war hero Carlos Manuel de Cesepedes,  in the late 1800s. 

 

The city is rich in history, museums, and Cuban culture as well as shopping and dining.
